Understanding dementia is only the beginning knowing how to respond in the moment is what transforms care. This immersive, hands-on workshop combines Champion Courses 1–4 into a single day of learning, giving participants the opportunity to practice Positive Physical Approach™ (PPA), Hand-under-Hand® (HuH®), and the GEMS® framework through guided instruction, demonstrations, coaching, and real-world scenarios. You’ll build the confidence to recognize changing abilities, adapt your approach as dementia progresses, and create interactions that foster trust, dignity, and meaningful connection.

Designed for healthcare professionals, family care partners, and anyone supporting a person living with dementia, this workshop emphasizes learning by doing. Participants leave with practical skills they can immediately apply to reduce distress, strengthen relationships, and create more positive, person-centered experiences every day.
